Rev. Norma Burton M.Div.
Heat and smoke provide us challenges that leave us with a sense of no escape. Some are escaping and others are feeling trapped. It is quite the metaphor to investigate how it’s sometimes impossible to escape from discomfort.
Where in your life are you trying to escape? How can you come to acceptance even in the most difficult situations? How can you face into the discomfort of no escape?
Is it possible to Remap our minds? New neuro-brain research has shown the effect of stories we tell that can modify our physiology and health.
“The stories people tell have a way of taking care of them. Sometimes a person needs a story more than food to stay alive.” Barry Lopez – Crow
